Hazard Overview

PAC is mildly acidic in solution and is generally treated as an irritant to eyes, skin, and the respiratory tract rather than a highly toxic or flammable substance. Dust or concentrated solution can cause irritation or, with prolonged/repeated contact, mild burns. It is not classified as flammable or explosive under normal use, but it can react with strong bases.

First Aid Measures

  • Eye contact: Flush immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes, lifting eyelids. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
  • Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly with water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
  • Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Seek medical attention if breathing difficulty or irritation persists.
  • Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth and seek medical attention.

Handling & Storage
