Restock
Poly Ferric Sulfate (1 kg)
Standalone 20%-active PFS coagulant for a large scale dosing program.
Overview
Poly Ferric Sulfate (PFS) is an inorganic coagulant used to destabilize and bind suspended particles — silt, clay, algae, and other turbidity-causing solids — into settleable flocs ahead of filtration or further treatment. This 1 kg pouch is sold as a standalone restock item for customers who have already run jar tests (with an Essentials Kit, a Full Kit, or their own testing) and know their dosing requirements.
Dosing Reference
PFS is not 100% pure — this product contains roughly 20% active content, which must be accounted for when dosing. Typical stock solutions and resulting dose strengths:
| Solution Strength | Grams in 1 L Water | mg Active PFS / mL |
|---|---|---|
| 1% w/v | 10 g | 2.0 mg |
| 5% w/v | 50 g | 10.0 mg |
Full turbidity-tier dose ranges, batch-volume tables, and mixing/settling guidance are on the Instructions page. Start low, verify pH stays in the 5.5–7.0 range for PFS, and adjust from there.
